Living Proof presents, Re-Ignition: an archival library of objects and gear

“Re-Ignition” is a new segment from Living Proof that serves as a library & archive of the prized possessions, rare relics and clothing belonging to graffiti writers, artists & skateboarders. Featuring items from highly coveted articles of clothing, personal keepsakes, collectibles, as well as the history, technical aspects & personal stories behind them. Looking inside the personal collections of individuals who built real legacy, showing how their lives, taste and past are reflected in the objects they kept; Re-Ignition will act as an archival library of artifacts that bring meaning to the human experience.

The library will be available exclusively on the Living Proof Patreon. 1/24/26.

The Original MF DOOM Mask:

The original MF DOOM mask designed by graffiti writer KEO, was created at the outset of DOOM’s career as a masked figure. This early version of the mask was used in the rapper’s first three music videos, establishing the identity that would come to define MF DOOM’s mythology. Conceived as a literal and symbolic concealment, the mask allowed DOOM to separate the performer from the person, shifting focus entirely onto the music and persona.

Though later iterations of the mask became more widely recognized, this original design represents the foundational moment of MF DOOM’s transformation into a faceless antihero and icon in hip-hop history. This early version of the mask was severely damaged during the “?” video shoot with Kurious Jorge. KEO attempted to repair it before finally deciding to shop for an actual metal version, which became known as the iconic “Gladiator” version that most DOOM fans know and love.

The Palace Ace Leather Flight Jacket SS22:

The Palace “Ace” leather flight jacket was a limited-release outerwear piece produced by Palace Skateboards, the London-based skate brand known for bridging European street culture with global skateboarding. This coat was owned by Shawn Powers, one of Palace’s earliest American team riders and among the first U.S. skaters formally welcomed onto the brand’s roster. Powers’ inclusion was significant at the time, as Palace had built its identity primarily around the London scene and its close-knit UK team, making his presence an early marker of the brand’s international expansion.

IRAK X FOOLS GOLD T-SHIRT:

The IRAK x Fool’s Gold T-Shirt, 2012, is a collaborative garment produced between the New York graffiti crew IRAK and the independent record label Fool’s Gold, a platform closely associated with the city’s electronic, hip-hop, and underground music scenes. This piece was contributed to RE-IGNITION by Mike IRAK, an original member of the legendary IRAK crew, which emerged in New York City in the late 1990s and became one of the most influential graffiti collectives of its era. IRAK’s presence reshaped how graffiti intersected with fashion, nightlife, and contemporary art, extending beyond walls into galleries, clubs, and fashion. The shirt represents a moment when graffiti lineage converged with modern music culture, reflecting IRAK’s role in bridging traditional New York writing with a new generation of creative platforms.
